....today he went through the surgery to remove the chemo port. The doctor's are sure that the staff infection on his lungs came from the chemo port. He is now a regular room (we are so glad to be out of ICU). If he feels up to it, they will begin radiation again tomorrow. Please continue to pray that he becomes stronger and that the infection in his lungs heals.
Josh and I are back in Auburn. It was really hard to leave him this morning. I went to see him before getting back on the road. Since this is my last semester of grad school, I had to teach at camp today. Also next week I have my written comps (the written test to see what all I have learned in grad school). There is lots to study and that is how I will be spending most of my weekend.
