Updates...

...so, sorry that is has been almost a month since I have posted something....
believe me lots has been going on!!!!

Since, their is a ton and I have been slacking on texting and updating everyone here it goes....

Dad:
My dad is at home and is making progress. I got to see him last weekend and he even ventured out of the house to Mimi's on Friday and Sunday and then to the mailbox with me on Tuesday afternoon. He is still seeing the Infectious Disease Dr. at Pincenton at least for one more week and one more week of antibiotics. Then later this month he will begin seeing the new Oncologist and have more scans. Please continue to pray for him and my step mom. Please pray that my dad continues to get stronger and eats (he has lost lots of weight).

House:
We might (might- should be in Bold Hot Pink Letters) close on our house July 31st. Keep your fingers crossed. They were pushed behind due to lack of inspectors and the rain. Between yesterday and today they have finished the insulation and most of the Sheetrock. It is finally starting to look like a house...here are a few pics:

Grad School:
I passed both my written and oral comps. Yeah, they were very stressful but not as bad as everyone makes them out to be. We finished camp last week and I already miss my campers. I still have one class, Positive Behavior Support, that goes until July 29th but only on Mondays and Wednesdays. Graduation is Monday August 10th (I need to get those announcements in the mail)

09-10 School Year:
Most of you know, but if you don't.....I was supposed to be at Clay-Chalkville Middle School next year, which is where both Josh and I went and where our sisters go now. But, with budget cuts the position I was filling was cut. So, after lots of phone calls and another interview I am now at Bragg Middle School in Gardendale. It was a blessing in disguise. Now, I will be close to my dad, if he needs me in the afternoon and my cousins go to school there. It will be a big change, back to teaching inclusion and the "special kids" not the "extra special kids" thanks Ruthie and Abie for that phrase.
