...after an ER visit last night and back to the dr. this morning with severe chest pains, he is in the ICU at Princenton Hospital in Birmingham. We met with the dr's at 5:00 pm to get the results of the scans. They have found spots on the lining of his lungs. (these were not there on the scans from 3 weeks ago). This is what is causing him so much pain since it is near the nerve endings. In the morning they are going to biosope the places on his lungs and do another test to look at his heart and lungs. The spots could be either an infection from the chemo port or that the cancer has spread. Right now they are treating it like an infection with antibiotics and pain medicine.
